Police Issue Safety Guidelines for Devotees at Trimbakeshwar During Shravan Somwar
In light of the Shravan month, the police administration has issued important instructions considering the possibility of thousands of devotees gathering at the Trimbakeshwar temple. From July 25 to August 23, the number of devotees is significantly high due to Shravan Mondays. Therefore, precautionary measures are being taken to prevent any untoward incidents. According to the instructions given by the police administration, devotees should not bring valuable items, jewelry, large amounts of cash, etc., when coming to Trimbakeshwar for darshan. It is also advised to carry minimal belongings. The police have clearly stated that it is necessary to avoid excessive interaction with strangers in crowded places and to take care of one's belongings.
Devotees are prohibited from carrying large bags or luggage while entering the temple. This step has been taken for security reasons, as suspicious items in crowded places can cause confusion or create an unsafe environment. Therefore, security arrangements have been tightened in the temple premises and crowded routes.
Additionally, if devotees find any unattended or suspicious items anywhere, they should not touch them and immediately inform the police. This is an important step for security, as clarified by the police. Additional police arrangements, CCTV surveillance, traffic control systems, and emergency services have been kept ready for crowd management.
