Navi Mumbai Airport is considered one of the most modern and environmentally friendly airports in the country.

The terminals are equipped with modern technology, and passengers will enjoy facilities such as direct check-in at the metro station, one-up and two-way baggage facilities. This will be the first airport in the country to be connected by water transport, and it will be linked by national highways, main urban roads, suburban railways, metro, and water transport.

After the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi will hold a public meeting. A grand pavilion has been set up for this. After arriving at the Navi Mumbai International Airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will first inspect the terminal. It is expected that this airport will reduce the burden on Mumbai's growing air traffic and provide significant relief to air transportation. After the inauguration ceremony, it has been informed that the Prime Minister will stay at the Raj Bhavan and will learn about the status of all major development projects underway in Mumbai during the night meeting at the Raj Bhavan. Additionally, they will gather information about other important projects including the bullet train, coastal road, and metro projects. For this purpose, all key administrative officers of the respective projects will be present at the Raj Bhavan to provide information.
