A molestation case has been registered against BJP leader
In a shocking incident that has sparked widespread outrage, a BJP office-bearer has been accused of molesting a female police officer in Pune. The incident reportedly took place during the visit of a Union Minister, where the accused allegedly misbehaved with a woman officer from the Pune Police Force.
The accused has been identified as Pramod Vitthal Kondhare, a functionary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Following the incident, a case of molestation and misconduct has been registered against him at the Faraskhana Police Station.
Sources indicate that the incident occurred while the female officer was on duty for security arrangements during the Union Minister’s visit to the city. Kondhare is alleged to have misbehaved with her in a manner deemed both inappropriate and unlawful, prompting the officer to file a formal complaint.
The Pune Police have confirmed the registration of the case and stated that further investigation is in progress. The incident has drawn severe criticism from various quarters, especially considering it involves a political office-bearer violating the dignity of a police officer on duty.
