Pune Crime: Man Attacked by gang in Vishrantwadi; Two Arrested, One Absconding

In a shocking incident that has further heightened fears about public safety, a man was brutally attacked in broad daylight in Pune’s Vishrantwadi area. The rising trend of such violent crimes is causing serious concern among local residents.

The victim, identified as Naresh Ramchandra Tidange (40), was assaulted by three individuals on Wednesday evening around 8 p.m. while he was returning home from work. The attackers confronted Tidange on the road and proceeded to assault him with a crowbar.

Eyewitnesses at the scene rushed to Tidange’s aid, prompting the assailants to flee. Despite their intervention, Tidange sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

In response to the attack, the police acted promptly and have managed to apprehend two of the three suspects. The third individual is currently on the run. Initial reports suggest that the arrested individuals are residents of the Vishrantwadi area.

Law enforcement authorities are actively pursuing the third accused and have launched a thorough investigation into the motive behind the assault. CCTV footage from the area is being analyzed to aid the investigation.
