Pune Metro Offers Free ‘One Pune Student Pass’ For Students

Pune Metro has launched a special discount scheme for students, and the 'One Pune Student Pass Card' will be given free from July 25 to September 15, 2025. The aim behind this scheme is to encourage school and college students to adopt public transport in the backdrop of the new academic year.

Typically priced at ₹118, this card will now be available for free, with a minimum top-up of ₹200 required when obtaining the card. Notably, the entire amount will be credited to the card balance, and no additional fees will be charged.

This facility is available to all students up to graduation level. For students under 18, the card will be issued in the name of a parent or guardian, based on valid KYC documents. This card will offer up to 30% ticket discount on all Pune Metro travels, making daily commuting more affordable for students. The first phase of the Pune Metro project has been completed, with 29 stations now open for passenger service.
