(Pune Mundhwa land Case) After the name of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar's son Parth Pawar came up in the 40-acre land transaction case in Mundhwa, Ajit Pawar announced the cancellation of the land transactions. This land scam case has caused a stir in the state.

Against this backdrop, the district registrar has now ordered Parth Ajit Pawar's Amedia company to pay a stamp duty of 22 crore rupees. The registration department has dealt a blow to Amedia company, which was conducting transactions of government land by evading stamp duty.

While purchasing government land in Mundhwa, Amedia company had shown a lower price for the land, thereby evading crores of revenue from the stamp duty department. Now, the stamp duty department has ordered the payment of 22 crore rupees.
