Traffic Changes in Pune for Angarki Sankashti Chaturthi

Temporary changes have been made to traffic on some main roads in Pune due to Angarki Sankashti Chaturthi. Pune Police have urged citizens to use alternative routes. Vehicles heading towards Shivajinagar via Bajirao Road from Puram Chowk on Tilak Road are instructed to proceed via Tilak Road – Alka Cinema – Deccan Gymkhana route.

Additionally, vehicles heading towards Swargate via Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road should use the alternative route of S. G. Barve Chowk (Modern Cafe) – Jangli Maharaj Road – Jhansi Rani Chowk – Khandujibaba Chowk – Tilak Road. The route from Appa Balwant Chowk to Hutatma Chowk will be closed for traffic, and the concerned road will be left straight.

During the upcoming Ganeshotsav period, one-way traffic is implemented on many roads in the city and routes are changed. Therefore, Pune residents are urged to follow police instructions and plan their travel accordingly.
