Raigad Heavy Rain : Savitri River Surpasses Warning Level
The rain, which had taken a break for many days, has returned once again, and heavy rain is falling in many parts of the state. The intensity of the rain is expected to increase across the state once again.
Due to heavy rain in many places, rivers and streams have flooded, disrupting daily life. Heavy rain is ongoing in Raigad district as well as the entire Konkan coast. Water has accumulated in many places. The continuous rain throughout the night has created a flood-like situation in Mahad.
Although the intensity of the rain has decreased now, there has been a significant rise in the water levels of the rivers. The Savitri River in Mahad has crossed the warning level. Meanwhile, the water of the Kundalika River flowing near Roha city is above the warning level. Therefore, the administration is prepared, and citizens in the villages along the riverbanks have been alerted. Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and follow the instructions given by the administration.
