Raigad Police Seize Drugs Worth 88 Crores in Mahad

Major action against drugs has been taken in Mahad, Raigad. Action was taken against the factory in Mahad MIDC manufacturing drugs without a license, and ketamine worth 88 crores 92 lakhs was seized.

The police have taken action against the factory producing drugs. Mahad MIDC police, the local crime investigation branch Raigad, and the anti-drug squad have jointly carried out this operation. A case has been registered against 4 individuals in this matter, and the accused have been taken into custody.

The police had confidential information that this company was manufacturing drugs. Based on this information, action has been taken. A case has been registered under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and Mahad MIDC police are conducting further investigation in this matter.
