Raj Thackeray: 'Looking at the political situation in Maharashtra, I think it's a good thing that Balasaheb is not here today,' said Raj Thackeray...
A grand event was organized at Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai on the occasion of the birth centenary of Hinduhriday Samrat Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray. In this program, MNS President Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray came together on the same platform, sparking discussions in political circles. On this occasion, Raj Thackeray provided emotional and meaningful guidance to the attendees.
While speaking at the program, Raj Thackeray said, “Before the elections, Uddhav fell ill. Now I have fallen ill. Today is the birth centenary year of Balasaheb Thackeray. If we decide to talk about him, Uddhav and I can speak about him for many hours.” Speaking about Balasaheb's characteristics, he further said, “I don't know in what words to describe Balasaheb Thackeray. There has never been an artist like Balasaheb Thackeray in the world. Balasaheb was different from all the politicians in the country.”
Reflecting on today's political situation, Raj Thackeray said, “Looking at today's political situation, I feel it's good that Balasaheb is not here. How distressed would that man have been, how much trouble would he have faced?” Commenting on his experience in the party's saffron, Raj Thackeray said, “When I left, it wasn't leaving the party, it was leaving the home. In the last 20 years, Uddhav and I have understood many things.” This statement was met with applause from the audience.
Although the coming together of two members of the Thackeray family in this program has generated enthusiasm among Shiv Sena and MNS workers, political analysts are viewing it as a pre-election strategy. As Balasaheb's birth centenary will be celebrated throughout the year, more such programs are expected.
