(Rajyasabha Election) The election has been announced for the vacant seats of Rajya Sabha. Voting will take place on March 16 from 9 AM to 4 PM, and the counting of votes will be conducted on the same day at 5 PM.

The last date for filling the application for this was March 5, and the applications will be scrutinized on March 6. After that, candidates have been given time until March 9 to withdraw. Against this backdrop, it is now seen that the number of aspirants in BJP for the Rajya Sabha has increased.

In the past few years, those who came from outside to BJP were sent to the Rajya Sabha or the Legislative Council. Therefore, now at least the loyalists should be considered, according to a group within the BJP.
