(Ajit Pawar) It is observed that Ajit Pawar has received relief in the alleged threat case. The summons issued against Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar by the court have been cancelled. Ajit Pawar was summoned in connection with the alleged threat of "cutting off the village's water supply if Supriya Sule was not voted for."

It is reported that these summons have been canceled by the Baramati Sessions Court, and during the 2014 campaign of candidate Supriya Sule, a video of Ajit Pawar threatening the villagers of Masalwadi in Baramati went viral. In this case, the then Aam Aadmi Party candidate and retired IPS officer Suresh Khopde filed an election petition in the court.

In this case, the Magistrate's Court had instructed to verify the statements and conduct an inquiry under Section 202 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Ajit Pawar's lawyers argued that this order is illegal and based on unverified evidence. Subsequently, the Sessions Court has canceled the order of the Magistrate's Court to issue summons.

The court had ordered proceedings against Ajit Pawar under Section 171-C (interference with electoral rights) and 171-F (exerting pressure in elections) of the Indian Penal Code. However, Ajit Pawar has now received relief.
