Rohit Pawar criticized Minister Kokate over the video Playing Rummy Game
Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate is facing criticism after a video of him playing rummy on his mobile went viral. Previously, Minister Manikrao Kokate had been embroiled in controversies due to his contentious statements. Now, this video is causing criticism against him.
There are many reactions coming from the political circle on this. Today, Manikrao Kokate held a press conference. It is now seen that two more videos of Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate have surfaced. Rohit Pawar tweeted and posted 2 more videos of Manikrao Kokate.
Rohit Pawar posted these videos and wrote, 'The statement of the Agriculture Minister that the session was over is blatantly false. On the contrary, there was a discussion in the assembly on the very important issue of providing milch animals to tribal communities who are away from the mainstream of development, but 'Patil of Osad village' may not have been interested in this discussion, and tell me, which advertisement takes 42 seconds to skip? Just as the flame of a lamp grows larger when it is about to extinguish, something similar has happened to Kokate Saheb.'
'Today, it seemed like they would do a favor to the farmers by resigning, but they took the stance of 'even if I fall, my leg is up' and talked about going to court, which is unfortunate. If the minister had made as much effort to do justice to the given position as he is doing to save himself today, this situation would not have arisen.'
'To avoid the disrepute of the legislature, I was refraining from sharing these videos with sound, but since the minister talked about going to court, I am compelled to bring the truth to the people's court. Now, if an inquiry is to be conducted, it should also be investigated whether the Agriculture Minister was playing cards, and to ensure this inquiry is conducted impartially, Mr. Kokate should show morality and resign from the ministerial post. Importantly, since the truth cannot be hidden, why wait for the next session to resign and make the farmers endure?' said Rohit Pawar.
