Rohit Pawar Reacts to Defamation Notice Sent by Manikrao Kokate
Manikrao Kokate faced criticism after a video of him playing a rummy game on his mobile went viral. Following the viral video of Manikrao Kokate playing rummy in the assembly, there was a stir in the state.
Rohit Pawar had shared this video on social media. Against this backdrop, Minister Manikrao Kokate has now issued a defamation notice to MLA Rohit Pawar regarding the Rummy video incident.
Against this backdrop, Rohit Pawar tweeted a response. 'I received a defamation notice for making public the video of the former Agriculture Minister playing cards in the assembly. Kokate Saheb, your time had come but the moment hadn't, so you escaped despite such a big scandal. If you were so concerned about defamation, why did you indulge in card playing? There's no need to separately mention your concern for farmers and the feats you have accomplished.
'The notice you sent is amusing, I couldn't stop laughing after reading it. But remember, I won't speak without evidence. I had proven with evidence that you were playing cards, and tomorrow I will prove it with evidence again,' said Rohit Pawar.
