Due to various reasons, two in the city and four in rural areas were swept away

( Nashik ) After ten days of devoted worship of the beloved Ganpati, both household and public Ganpatis were bid farewell. Ganesh immersion processions began with great enthusiasm across the state. It is reported that during Ganesh immersion in Nashik, six people died and one person is missing.

Due to immersion and various reasons, two people in the city and four in the rural areas were swept away. This includes Pravin Shantaram Chavan in the Godavari stream, Chander Nathu Malekar in the stone pond at Borgad, Omprakash Sundarlal Lilhare in the Sinnar Sardwadi dam, Dinesh Baburao Rajbhoj in the river at Kalwan, and Vishnu Dagale in Govardhan.
