Smuggling of Ganja in Pune: Crime Branch Seizes Narcotics Worth ₹22 Lakh

Cannabis smuggling in Fursungi, Pune has been exposed. Information has emerged that smuggling was taking place from a Thar vehicle. Upon receiving this information, the Crime Branch team set a trap and seized the Thar vehicle along with 26 kg of cannabis, and one person has been taken into custody.

This action was taken in the D Mart area of Fursungi. The police had received confidential information that cannabis smuggling was going to occur from a Thar vehicle. Accordingly, Crime Branch officers acted promptly and set a trap.

After stopping the suspicious vehicle and inspecting it, a total of 26 kg of marijuana was found. Its estimated market value is said to be 2.2 million rupees. The accused has been taken into custody and further investigation has begun.
