(Maharashtra Winter Session) The Winter Session is set to begin from today, with the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly's Winter Session taking place in the sub-capital Nagpur from December 8 to December 14, and this session will be wrapped up in just one week.

On the very first day of the session, four marches are set to collide, and information has been received that 15 sit-in protests by various organizations at Yashwant Stadium and two individuals have threatened self-immolation to draw attention to their demands. A political struggle is seen brewing between the ruling party and the opposition in the legislature, with the opposition likely to corner the government on various issues.

In light of the marches coming from all four parts of the city, tight security arrangements have been made, and special care has been taken to ensure that traffic is not affected. CCTV cameras have been installed at various places by the police to monitor the marchers and for security, and it is anticipated that this session will be marked by various issues. The opposition also boycotted the tea party program held yesterday.
