Sunetra Pawar took the oath of office as Deputy Chief Minister yesterday evening. Prior to this, NCP MLAs elected Sunetra Pawar as the group leader in the party's legislative meeting at the Vidhan Bhavan.
Sunetra Pawar has been appointed as the 11th Deputy Chief Minister of the state, and now Sunetra Pawar herself will handle the leadership of the Nationalist Party. Sunetra Pawar was elected as the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party's legislative party on Saturday, following the vacancy created by the demise of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Against this backdrop, Sunetra Pawar has now been given the responsibility of three departments.
