(Nana Patole) The announcement of district council and panchayat samiti elections has been made. Elections for 12 district councils and 125 panchayat samitis in the state have been announced, with voting to take place on February 5 and results to be declared on February 7.

Against this backdrop, Congress leader Nana Patole has written a letter to the Election Commission and the Chief Minister. Nana Patole also said, 'In many states, voting is conducted on ballots during the District Council and Panchayat Committee elections. Maharashtra is a progressive state. It is a state of Shahu, Phule, and Ambedkar's thoughts.'

'We have written a letter to the Election Commission and the state government in this state, asking them to assist in this process. We have demanded that the Election Commission conduct voting on ballots,' said Nana Patole.
