Both pilots on the aircraft were licensed and medically fit. The registration number of the aircraft that crashed in Baramati was VT-SSK. It has been revealed that this chartered aircraft was operated by VSR Ventures Private Limited.

There was no technical difficulty in the aircraft. The airworthiness certificate for it was issued on 10 September 2025. Its validity was until 14 September 2026.
