Third Day of Marxist Communist Party Long March in Palghar

(Palghar) A long march has been organized by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Palghar. Yesterday was the second day of this CPI(M) long march, which reached the Palghar District Collector's office. Today is the third day of the CPI(M) march from Palghar, and it is observed that the marchers are stationed outside the Palghar District Collector's office.

The grand march has started from Charoti on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway and is currently stopped at the gate in front of the District Collector's office. Pending forest rights should be registered in the holder's name, the compulsion of smart meters should be stopped, and the works of the Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed immediately.

It is reported that this long march has been organized for various demands such as canceling the proposed Wadhavan port in Palghar district and the Jindal port at Murbe.
