(Mumbai) The Trilingual Policy Committee workshop has been organized today in Mumbai. Hindi was made compulsory as the first to third language in the state, and it faced strong opposition across the state.
Meanwhile, a workshop of the Trilingual Policy Committee is going to be held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, through which the committee will gather everyone's opinions. However, it is seen that Dr. Deepak Pawar is opposing the workshop. Dr. Deepak Pawar said that we have always opposed the trilingual policy.
The state government has set up a committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Jadhav to determine the trilingual policy in line with the National Education Policy 2020. According to the trilingual policy, many political parties had opposed the imposition of Hindi from the first grade, and although the related government resolution was later cancelled, today's discussion on the trilingual policy is still going to be important.
