Tuljabhavani Temple to Remain Closed for Darshan Till August 20
Every day, millions of devotees flock to Tuljapur for the darshan of Mother Tuljabhavani. However, the temple administration has made an important decision to keep the darshan inside the sanctum closed until August 20, 2025. As a result, devotees will only be able to have a glimpse of the deity. The conservation and restoration work of the sanctum is underway under the guidance of the Archaeological Department, and for this, the darshan inside the sanctum was closed from August 1 to 10. However, since the work is incomplete, this period has been extended by another 10 days.
As a result, devotees will not be able to enter the sanctum until August 20. However, the glimpse of the deity, throne worship, and abhishek worship will continue as before. The temple administration has also provided proper instructions to the devotees to ensure that there is no hindrance in the planning of the darshan.
Thousands of devotees from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka come to Tuljapur daily for the goddess's darshan. As the darshan inside the sanctum is closed, the waiting time in the queue for the main darshan may increase. Devotees are urged to maintain patience and take advantage of the darshan, as appealed by the temple administration. Regular darshan inside the sanctum is likely to start after August 20, and further decisions will be made based on the advice of the temple institution and the archaeological department.
