Farmers have shed tears as their goods were washed away in the rain water at the Agricultural Produce Market Committee in Manora, Washim due to heavy rains. After the rain started around noon, some time after the rain started, water accumulated in the premises of the market committee and the farm goods also started flowing away. Due to this, the farmers started running. The farmers have suffered losses due to this rain. This has shown the possibility that their goods will get a lower price.

The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather and rain in Amravati and Vidarbha for the next three to four days. Therefore, there is a high possibility that onion producers and horticulturalists will be hit hard due to this unseasonal rain. However, due to the unseasonal rain, summer cultivation work has been put on hold for a long time. Due to the unseasonal rain, vegetable sellers have faced a big crisis.
