Vaishnavi Hagawane Case : Police to Conduct Forensic Examination of Ceiling Fan
(Vaishnavi Hagawane Case) There has been a new twist in the death case of Vaishnavi Hagawane. Vaishnavi was found hanging from a fan at her home. According to the complaint filed by her father in this case, it has been alleged that she was tortured for dowry.
Her husband Shashank, mother-in-law Lata, brother-in-law Karishma, father-in-law Rajendra and brother-in-law Sushil Hagavane are under arrest in this case. The post-mortem report indicates that Vaishnavi's death is suspicious.
The police have now decided to conduct a forensic test of the fan used at the scene. It is learnt that the fan will also be tested to see if it can withstand a weight of 71 kg. Through this test, it will be checked whether there have been any changes to the structure of the fan or attempts to destroy evidence.
Nilesh Chavan, along with father and son Rajendra and Shashank Hagavane, will be produced in court again today as their police custody is ending.
