Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate is facing criticism after a video of him playing a rummy game on his mobile went viral. Previously, Minister Manikrao Kokate had often been embroiled in controversies due to his contentious statements. Now, this video has led to criticism against him. There are many reactions coming from political circles on this matter. Against this backdrop, Ambadas Danve has now reacted to it. Ambadas Danve said, "On one hand, farmers in the state are facing the crisis of re-sowing. In some areas, due to fake seeds and unseasonal rains, nearly 97 hectares have been damaged, while the state's Agriculture Minister is seen engrossed in playing rummy in the assembly. If he wants to play rummy, he has his home, but playing rummy in the assembly and neglecting farmers' issues shows the insensitivity of the state government. It is unfortunate that such people are in the cabinet."

"This is not their first incident. Sometimes they say 'Patil of the deserted village', sometimes they say 'Inspection of clods', sometimes they say 'Engagements with borrowed money', and now they play rummy. I think having such an Agriculture Minister in the cabinet is a compulsion for Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. There is a need for action against such a minister. Farmers will certainly strike against the insensitivity towards them, but before that, the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in the government should act. Such a minister should be made to sit at home. Play rummy at home, then play rummy 24 hours a day at home."

"The assembly is meant for presenting the people's issues, for working on them. Therefore, action must be taken against such a minister. They do not have the right to remain in the cabinet for even a minute." said Ambadas Danve.
