Voting was completely halted for the past half an hour at the polling station of Ward No. 10 in Washim due to the sudden failure of the EVM machine. This led to a large crowd of voters outside the polling station, and there was dissatisfaction among the people. However, reliable information has now been received that the EVM machine is operational again, and the voting process has resumed as before.

Voting is taking place today for the elections of 24 municipalities and town councils in the state, which were postponed by the Election Commission. This includes Ambernath, Kopargaon, Deolali-Pravara, Pathardi, Nevasa, Baramati, Fursungi-Uruli Devachi, Angar, Mangalwedha, Mahabaleshwar, Phaltan, Phulambri, Mukhed, Dharmabad, Nilanga, Renapur, Basmath, Anjangaon Surji, Balapur, Yavatmal, Washim, Deulgaon Raja, Deoli, and Ghugus.

The counting of votes for these elections, as well as for the 264 municipalities and town councils held on December 2, will begin on Sunday at 10 AM.
