Rivers Overflow in Washim: Highway Closure and Flooded Fields Cause Chaos

The rain, which had taken a break for many days, has returned once again. Heavy rain is falling in many parts of the state. Washim district is witnessing the impact of heavy rain.

Due to the heavy rain, rivers and streams have flooded, and daily life has been disrupted. The Risod-Mehkar highway is submerged. With the highway submerged, the road is closed. Many citizens have been forced to stop near the bridge.

The rain that has been falling since dawn has created a flood situation in the riverbank areas of Shelu Khadse, Wakad in Risod taluka of Washim. Rainwater has entered the fields of many living by the riverbank.
