Water supply Close for 3 days in 'this' area of Mumbai

(Water supply) Information has been received that water will not be available for three days in some areas of Mumbai. Due to the diversion work of the Upper Vaitarna main water pipeline, there will be no water supply for three days. This water supply will be shut off from 9 AM on January 20 to 5 AM on January 22.

In many areas of Dadar, Prabhadevi, Mahim, Andheri East, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Bandra Kurla Complex, Vikhroli West, there will be difficulties in water supply as a part of the 2,400 mm diameter Middle Vaitarna main water pipeline has been diverted for the Metro 7A project, and it needs to be connected, resulting in no water supply for three days. Therefore, an appeal has been made to use water sparingly.
