(Manikrao Kokate) State Sports Minister Manikrao Kokate is in trouble once again. The session court has made a major decision in the apartment misconduct case. The two-year sentence and a fine of 10,000 for the 10% apartment misconduct in the government quota have been upheld in the district session court.
This sentence given by the first-class court has been upheld by the district sessions court. Due to this judicial decision, a sword of arrest is hanging over Kokate.
According to the law, if the sentence is more than two years, their MLA position and consequently the ministerial position may be at risk under the Representation of the People Act. After this verdict, Manikrao Kokate's troubles have now increased.
