(NCP - Thackeray Shivsena) In the backdrop of local self-government elections, all political parties are gearing up vigorously. As the local self-government elections approach, political equations are seen to be overturning.

In the Karjat Assembly constituency of Raigad district, Ajit Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party has decided to directly ally with Thackeray's Shiv Sena. It is reported that a meeting between the two parties resulted in a resolution to jointly contest the upcoming local self-government elections.

This decision has now created the possibility of a new dispute arising among the constituent parties of the grand alliance. For this meeting, NCP's district president Sudhakar Ghare, Bharat Bhagat, Ashok Bhopatrao, and from Thackeray's Shiv Sena, deputy district chief Nitin Sawant, Bhivsen Badekar, and Pradip Thackeray were present.
