'Prove the allegations or retire from politics', Minister Bawankule's challenge

(Rohit Pawar) After resolving some of the demands of the Maratha protesters and sending them back, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is being praised. In this context, an advertisement of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was published. This has led to various reactions from political leaders.

Regarding this advertisement, Rohit Pawar tweeted, 'Mr. Bawankule, sir, you can print advertisements worth 400 or 4000 crores instead of 40 crores daily, we have no objection, but why were these advertisements printed anonymously? We object to this. Because you know well that an anonymous advertisement is a repayment of a favor.

If these advertisements were given by the government, then while on one hand, schemes are being shut down due to lack of funds, and contractors are committing suicide due to pending bills, isn't printing advertisements a waste of public money?'

'If these advertisements were given by the BJP, then why didn't the BJP give the advertisement in its own name? If the BJP didn't give them, then did some company or a leader from an allied party in trouble give these multi-crore advertisements as a return of favor? For example, did the company whose fine of more than 90 crores you waived as the Revenue Minister give the advertisement? If there is nothing shady or to hide in this advertisement case, then why don't you disclose who spent these crores on advertisements? Make it public!' said Rohit Pawar.

Against this backdrop, Chandrashekhar Bawankule has responded by saying, 'Mr. Rohit Pawar, you have made a very big discovery.!! Prove the allegation that as Revenue Minister, I waived a fine of 90 crores for a company. Otherwise, take political retirement. Prove it!!' said Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
