As senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal prepares to take oath as a minister in the Maharashtra cabinet today, he addressed the media and shared his thoughts on the political developments leading to his induction.

Bhujbal, who was reportedly upset in recent days over being excluded from the cabinet, had met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to express his concerns. However, the situation appears to have been resolved behind the scenes.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to take place at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. A circular issued by Maharashtra Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik confirmed the event, stating that the induction of new cabinet members has been formally organized.

Speaking to the media before the ceremony, Bhujbal said, "All is well, all is well that ends well. I thank Chief Minister Fadnavis Saheb, Eknathrao Shinde, Ajitdada, Sunil Tatkare, and Praful Patel Saheb. I also thank Prime Minister Modi Saheb and Amit Shah Saheb, as well as everyone who has supported and loved me."

Bhujbal further clarified that the decision was not sudden: "All this was decided eight days ago. A meeting was held, and everything was finalized then," he stated, suggesting that the process had been in motion for some time.

His comments come amid heightened political discussions around his appointment and reactions from various quarters, including activist Anjali Damania, who criticized the move.
