Yesterday, a meeting of Sharadchandra Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party was held in Mumbai. In this meeting, Shashikant Shinde was selected as the new state president.
Sharad Pawar, Jayant Patil, former minister Anil Deshmukh, Jitendra Awhad, Harshvardhan Patil, Shashikant Shinde, along with many other important leaders were present at this meeting. Anil Deshmukh proposed the name of Shashikant Shinde for the new regional president position.
After Jayant Patil resigned from the position of regional president, attention was focused on who would be given the responsibility of the regional president.
