Sudhakar Badgujar Expelled from from Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Party
In a swift and dramatic political development, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) has expelled its deputy leader Sudhakar Badgujar following his meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Nashik. The meeting stirred widespread speculation and triggered a flurry of reactions in political circles.
According to party sources, the expulsion was prompted by Badgujar’s recent anti-party statements, which were deemed as a breach of party discipline. The announcement was made during a press conference held by Shiv Sena (UBT) in Nashik earlier today.
As the press briefing was underway, senior party leader Sanjay Raut called party representative Datta Gaikwad and conveyed Uddhav Thackeray’s directive to expel Badgujar from the party. Gaikwad immediately informed the media present at the conference.
Sudhakar Badgujar had publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the party leadership just a day earlier, adding fuel to speculation about internal discord. Sanjay Raut also addressed Badgujar’s grievances earlier in the morning, reinforcing the party’s position and hinting that disciplinary action was imminent.
Badgujar’s meeting with CM Fadnavis is being viewed as politically significant, particularly in the context of ongoing shifts in the state’s political landscape. While the reasons for their meeting remain undisclosed, the fallout has led to swift action from the Shiv Sena (UBT) leadership.
