Delhi Capitals Triumph Over Lucknow in Thrilling IPL Match
As the battle of IPL has started, the match between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants was played yesterday, interestingly, the captains of these two teams have been exchanged. Delhi Capitals opened their account in the 18th season of the INDIAN Premier League (IPL) with a win under the leadership of Axar Patel and the help of Delhi team's impact player Ashutosh Sharma. Lucknow batted first and set a target of 210 runs for Delhi. Delhi won the match by one wicket. Delhi scored 211 runs in 19.3 overs.
New finisher in Delhi's fleet
Ashutosh was the real hero for Delhi, scoring an unbeaten half-century for Delhi and scoring 66 not out off 31 balls with 5 sixes and 5 fours. Delhi were bowled out in 10 overs. However, Both Ashutosh and Vipraj helped troubled Delhi to hoist the victory flag in the first match.
Delhi's unexpected comeback
Faf du Plessis was dismissed for 29 early on. Tristan Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma then added 48 runs in the field. Tristan Stubbs then returned after scoring 34 off 22 balls. Ashutosh then shared a 23-ball 55-run partnership with Vipraj Nigam to guide Delhi to a difficult victory.
