Virat Kohli will play another match to prepare for the home ODI series against New Zealand starting from January 11. With the aim of solidifying his preparation for the one-day format, he will participate in the match on January 6, which is being viewed as his practice match.
Virat Kohli has shown his form by batting excellently in the two matches he has played so far. He scored 131 in one innings and 77 in the other. This performance has led Delhi to victory, and fans hope that such form continues against New Zealand as well.
DDCA President Rohan Jaitley told PTI that Virat Kohli is currently playing and has made himself available for three matches. Meanwhile, according to BCCI sources, the Indian ODI team for the New Zealand series will gather in Vadodara by January 8, and Kohli may arrive for practice before that.
