Nashik: 1000 Trees to be Planted in Nashik Today

Environmentalists are strongly opposing the proposed tree cutting in the Tapovan area of Nashik. Against this backdrop, while there is opposition to the proposed tree cutting in Tapovan, on the other hand, trees have been ordered from Rajmundry in Hyderabad. Against this backdrop, 15,000 trees dispatched from Rajmundry have now arrived in Nashik.

Girish Mahajan personally selected 15,000 native trees in Rajmundry. These trees will be planted in different parts of the city. Trees like Banyan, Peepal, Neem, and Jamun will be planted, with an initial plantation of 15,000 trees.

Against this backdrop, a tree plantation program was conducted today under the auspices of Harit Nashik by Minister Girish Mahajan. Under the Harit Nashik initiative, 1,000 trees were planted in Nashik today. The program was held in the presence of Minister Girish Mahajan, and saints and monks were also present for the event.
