Dharashiv Crime: Tuljapur Shocked as Police Constable’s Daughter Dies by Suicide After Harassment

A heartbreaking incident has shaken the city of Tuljapur, where a 15-year-old girl — the daughter of a police constable residing in the ST Colony area — died by suicide after enduring continuous harassment. The case has sparked outrage across the local community.

According to preliminary reports, the minor was being persistently harassed by a known youth who allegedly threatened her with dire consequences if she refused to marry him. The accused reportedly told her, “Marry me or I will post your videos on social media.” Shockingly, he is believed to have already uploaded some of her photos and videos online, pushing the girl into severe mental distress, which ultimately led to her tragic decision.

In swift response, the police have arrested the main accused along with one of his accomplices. While the investigation is ongoing, the police have declined to disclose further details at this stage.

Speaking to Lokshahi Marathi, correspondent Kakasaheb Kamble visited the locality and interacted with local residents. Citizens have expressed deep anguish and outrage over the incident, demanding strict and exemplary punishment for the culprits.
