Accused of fraud in 60 crore investment

( Raj Kundra ) Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra is under investigation due to serious allegations. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has summoned him in a case of financial fraud exceeding 60 crore rupees. He has been ordered to appear for questioning on September 15. Previously, he was given a date to appear on September 10, but he requested a change in the schedule.

According to the complaint filed against Raj Kundra, it is alleged that Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty used investors' money for personal gain instead of business purposes. A complaint related to this case has been filed at the Juhu police station. Investor Deepak Kothari has made several serious allegations regarding the investment made in the company.

During the investigation of the crime, the EOW has also issued a lookout circular against Raj Kundra. As a result, he cannot leave the country and go abroad. Additionally, a summons has been sent for questioning to an auditor related to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) in this case.

There are allegations of misuse of funds from investments during the period from 2015 to 2023. According to the investors, they were assured that the invested amount would be returned, but that did not happen. The investigation into these entire developments is now being conducted more swiftly by the Economic Offenses Wing.
