Fire Incident at Arpora Night Club in Goa; 3 Officers Suspended by Goa Government

(Goa Night Club Fire) A severe fire broke out late Saturday night at a night club in Goa. Unfortunately, 25 people lost their lives in this incident. Many people are injured and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Against this backdrop, the state government has now taken major action. In this case, the Goa government has now suspended 3 officers. Due to serious negligence, Director of Panchayat Siddhi Halarnkar, former Secretary of Pollution Control Board Sharmila Montero, and Secretary of Hadfade Panchayat Raghuveer Bagkar have been suspended.
It is being reported from the preliminary investigation that this incident occurred due to permission for illegal construction and serious administrative negligence.
