The troubles for industrialist Anil Ambani in Mumbai have increased further. After ED raids in the loan fraud case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted raids at six locations. It is understood that during this operation, which started in the morning, Ambani and his family members were present at their residence.

A serious allegation has been made against Ambani for misappropriating a loan of a whopping 17,000 crore rupees taken from Yes Bank. It is said that this loan was diverted to other companies instead of the intended purpose. Ambani had requested 10 days from the investigating officers to submit the necessary documents. However, without granting this extension, the CBI directly conducted a raid.

During this operation, the investigating agency seized documents related to financial transactions, digital records, and other evidence. The CBI claims that various companies of the Reliance Group took large loans without any solid guarantees and used the funds elsewhere through shell companies.

Earlier, the CBI had registered two cases in this matter, and subsequently, the ED also initiated an independent investigation. The latest raids are expected to bring new information and evidence to light in the direction of the investigation.
