Chandrakant Khaire on Raj-Uddhav Reunion: “If Thackeray Brothers Unite, Grand Alliance Will Suffer a Major Blow”

Thackeray Brothers' Reunion Could Shake Maharashtra's Political Landscape

Speculation is mounting in Maharashtra over a potential political alliance between Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray. According to reliable sources received by Lokshahi Marathi, even close relatives of the Thackeray family have begun mediating to bring the estranged brothers together.

Speaking exclusively to Lokshahi Marathi, senior Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Chandrakant Khaire confirmed these developments. “We, the party office bearers, also believe that the Thackeray brothers should reunite. The information that their relatives are facilitating dialogue is true,” he stated.

Khaire further added, “I firmly believe that if Uddhav and Raj Thackeray come together, the Mahayuti alliance comprising BJP, the Eknath Shinde faction, and Ajit Pawar’s group will face a major setback. There is a strong sentiment among the people of Marathwada as well—these two brothers should unite for the betterment of Maharashtra.”

However, offering a contrasting perspective, BJP leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil downplayed the potential impact of such a reunion. “Yes, the Thackeray brothers have parted ways, and they might come together again. But I don't believe this will significantly alter the political landscape. I am confident that the Grand Alliance will win in the upcoming elections,” he remarked.

These political statements have intensified buzz in Maharashtra’s political corridors. Whether this speculated Thackeray reunion becomes a reality remains to be seen in the coming days, but it has undoubtedly added a fresh twist to the state’s political dynamics.
