In a historic boost to the medical and industrial sector of Marathwada, the 'True Beam Device' was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda. This state-of-the-art device will provide fast and accurate treatment to cancer patients.

A new era has begun in the medical field.

At the ceremony held at the Government Cancer Hospital and Medical College, Union Minister Nadda said, "Cancer will now be dealt with timely and aggressive treatment. We are creating a chain of health temples across the country, from which lakhs of citizens will get timely diagnosis and treatment." Stating that the poor have received free health coverage up to Rs 5 lakh under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, he also announced that, "Cancer treatment centers will be set up in every district." He also expressed his determination to set up 100 new medical and nursing colleges across the country.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted the industrial future of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on the occasion. He said, "Like Pune-Mumbai, now Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Jalna will also become important manufacturing hubs of the state. The Smart Industrial City launched under DMIC is a prime example of this."

Fadnavis announced with great enthusiasm, "8 thousand hectares of new industrial land will be made available. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar will be developed rapidly as an EV hub. A grand exhibition center and industrial ring road will be built. Traffic will be smoothed through flyover projects. The country's largest floating solar project will be set up on Jayakwadi Dam. Once an entrepreneur from outside comes here, he never goes back," he said, underlining the importance of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar's industrial role.

Marathwada dreams of drought-free region

Chief Minister Fadnavis also gave a glowing assurance for Marathwada, which is constantly battling drought. "We have set a goal of diverting the water flowing to the sea into the Godavari basin and bringing 50 TMC of water. We will make Marathwada drought-free in the next 5-6 years!" Along with this, plans have also been made to divert flood water from Sangli-Kolhapur to Marathwada through Ujani.

Shaktipeeth Highway transforms Marathwada

“The Shaktipith Highway will change the commercial and industrial face of the entire Marathwada. This highway will revitalize the entire region,” Fadnavis said, revealing new development prospects. “CMIA has CM in its name, so you don’t need me much,” he said simply, drawing laughter from the audience.
