Traffic between Odisha and Andhra Pradesh has come to a standstill. Due to heavy rains and the backdrop of the cyclone, the weather department has issued a red alert for seven districts along the Odisha coast and a yellow alert for 16 districts.

Due to the low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, heavy rain is occurring near the Odisha coast, and incidents of landslides and trees falling in various places have also occurred. In some areas, the intensity of the rain has increased.
