According to information provided by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a red alert has been issued for several parts of the city including North Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, South-East Delhi, and Central Delhi.

Due to the rain, water accumulated on the roads in areas like Shastri Bhavan, R.K. Puram, Moti Bagh, and Kidwai Nagar. A large accumulation of water near Gate No. 7 of Bharat Mandapam, Panchkuian Road, Minto Road, and Mathura Road affected the morning traffic.

A red alert has been issued for Ghaziabad district in Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department has stated that there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain throughout Delhi and NCR, with winds blowing at a speed of 30-40 km per hour accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.

According to the weather forecast, the maximum temperature will remain between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has also stated that the intensity of the rain will continue for the next few days.
