Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Criticizes Officials Over Hinjewadi's Lagging Civic Amenities

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inspected civic amenities and development works in the Hinjewadi area this morning.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inspected the civic amenities and development works in the Hinjewadi area this morning. During the inspection, he expressed displeasure with the officers' working methods and gave an angry response.

Ajit Pawar clearly stated that due to inadequate basic facilities in IT hubs like Hinjewadi, IT companies are relocating to cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad. "I come here at six in the morning because I am concerned, but you don't care at all," he reprimanded the officers.

During the inspection, when some officials mentioned that religious sites were becoming obstacles, Ajit Pawar said, "Even when dams were built, many temples were submerged. I will do whatever I need to do, you just tell me what you have to say." In a previous visit, he had also ordered action against unauthorized obstructions. "File cases under Section 353," he had given clear orders.

Seeing the discussion start while the media cameras were on during this inspection tour, Ajit Pawar asked to turn off the cameras. "Our situation is deteriorating, Pune's IT park is becoming empty, and you don't feel anything?", he questioned, warning the officials to remain alert.

Ordering action against unauthorized religious sites obstructing development work in Hinjewadi, Ajit Pawar made it clear that "every necessary action will be taken to complete the project."
