e-Vitara : Maruti Suzuki's First Electric SUV Set to Launch in India

Maruti Suzuki, a company that has created a special place in the hearts of Indian customers, has finally announced the launch date of their first electric SUV 'e-Vitara'. This car will be officially presented in the Indian market on September 3, 2025.

For the past few months, this car has been a topic of discussion. Previously, its first appearance was at Auto Expo 2025. This had generated great excitement among fans. Now that the launch date is confirmed, there is a renewed sense of enthusiasm and excitement among car enthusiasts.

The e-Vitara car will be available in a total of 10 color options. This includes 6 mono-tone colors and 4 dual-tone shades. Mono-tone colors available for customers are Nexa Blue, Opulent Red, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, Splendid Silver, and Arctic White.

Advanced Features Galore

To give this car a premium look, the company has included many advanced features. These include LED headlamps, DRLs, and taillamps along with 18-inch alloy wheels and an active air vent grill, which enhance its aerodynamic efficiency.

The car features a panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This entire system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

In terms of safety, the e-Vitara includes many advanced features. The car is equipped with 7 airbags and an ADAS system, which includes features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, blind spot monitoring, tire pressure monitoring system, 360-degree camera, and front-rear parking sensors are also available in the car.

Price and Variants

According to initial estimates, the starting price of the e-Vitara could be around 1.7 to 1.8 million rupees. However, for the top-end variant, this price could go up to 2.5 million rupees, according to industry experts.
