EV Policy Maharashtra : Toll Waiver For Electric Vehicles In Maharashtra

To promote the production and purchase of electric vehicles in the state, the government has formulated an electric vehicle policy. Under this, toll waiver will be given to certain electric vehicles at certain toll plazas. Also, 100 percent loan facility will be provided in this. Due to increasing fuel prices and pollution, electric vehicles are being given special preference. Due to the availability of longer range and faster battery recharge options, people are now inclined towards buying electric vehicles.

The state cabinet meeting was held today, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Many important decisions have been taken in this meeting. For the past few days, there was talk of implementing an electric vehicle policy in the state. Finally, the state government has approved it. The Maharashtra Electric Vehicle Policy has been approved.
