The Indian women's cricket team has achieved historic success on the England tour. Under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, the team accomplished the feat of winning the Twenty-20 series in England for the first time. In this five-match series, India took a 3-2 lead to secure victory. Subsequently, the Indian women's team also proved their dominance in England by winning the one-day series 2-1.

Many players performed brilliantly in this victory. In the first Twenty-20 match, opener Smriti Mandhana scored a magnificent century to give the team a strong start. Then, in the final one-day match, captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored a century to stabilize the team's innings. Special attention was drawn by 21-year-old fast bowler Kranti Gaud. She took six wickets in the third one-day match, achieving a historic performance. She became the youngest Indian fast bowler to accomplish this feat.

These series have boosted the Indian team's confidence for the upcoming World Cup tournaments. India and Sri Lanka are joint hosts for the Women's ODI World Cup starting from September 30, while the T20 World Cup will be held in England next year.

Reacting to this historic achievement, Sachin Tendulkar said, “Winning in England is always difficult. The preparation and confidence shown by the Indian team in such conditions is commendable. This achievement will certainly be inspiring for the upcoming tournaments.”
